jamessuckling.com, June 2022

Deep, savory and intense with notes of dried blueberries, five spice, mushroom, gravy, grilled herbs and dried oysters. Deliciously spicy on the palate, too, with a full body and firm, sleek and well-integrated tannins...

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, August 2019

96+ The Fuligni 2007 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva reveals beautiful tertiary intensity with wild berry and plum followed by balsam herb, licorice, grilled herb and spice. I am impressed by the sheer exuberance and...

Vinous, January 2022

The 2007 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva shows cherry and plum sauce, lifted by sweet sage and mint, yet still quite rich and intense. With time, it dips down to earth with a mix of flowery undergrowth and wet stone. It’s...

Wine Spectator, June 2013

Rich and dense, with cherry, black currant and cedar flavors covering the solid grip of tannins. Still closed down, yet there's freshness on the finish, with fruit and spice accents. Best from 2016 through 2032. – BS

Jancis Robinson's Purple Pages, October 2016

(17.5/20) Mature, evolved ruby. Lots of complexity and herbs and tar. Real intensity and wonderful lift. Great to have the chance to taste such a mature example. Really quite rich for Fuligni! Bittersweet memories of...
