According to Michel Mallard, the 2020 vintage was more like the Rhône than Burgundy, but there is still incredible freshness here, with lovely spice and floral notes, within a graceful, elegant texture. This wine is produced exclusively from the 1.2ha between the road leading to the combe and the parcel belonging to Domaine Leroy, exposed directly south with a fairly steep slope. The wine was fermented as 70% whole clusters and aged in 50% new casks.
