This shows the elegant, ethereal raspberry fruit with a rose petal, sweet edge on the palate that is so typical of Chambolle. The texture is light and fine, but not lacking in substance. Marvellous. Confusingly there is a village-level Les Bussières in Chambolle and La Bussière in Morey, but this is from the Chambolle side, in the portion classed in premier cru.

(90-93 points) Half a hectare up against the wall. Fine bright purple, much more sensual than the Nuits-St-Georges Poisets, balanced and delicious, with some tension at the back. This is very stylish, generous and accessible. Very good. 13.85% alcohol.

(90-92 points) The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Bussières wafts from the glass with aromas of cherries, red berries, sweet spices, orange rind and raw cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, lively and concentrated, with powdery tannins and a saline finish, it's one of the high points of the range.- WK

(90-92 points) The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Bussieres ler Cru has a well-defined, fragrant bouquet with violet and incense infusing the black cherry and bilberry fruit. This is a little spicier than the Vieilles Vignes. The palate has a Morey-like structure, which is no surprise since it borders the appellation (Roumiert Clos de la Bussieres to be exect.)
