The 2022 Les Lecons des Maitres is a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc from Ritchie Vineyard and 20% Semillon from Silver Oak. The nose is so pretty, featuring scents of lemongrass and lime leaves wafting over a core of green apples, honeysuckle, chalk, and coriander seed. The medium-bodied palate is tightly wound, crisp, and wonderfully intense, with lots of minerally accents lifting the long, long, finish. This should age brilliantly!

Made entirely from Sauvignon Blanc, the 2022 Les Lecons Des Maitres pours a right straw/silver color and is zesty and focused in the glass, with a light lift of fresh white pepper, chives, white grapefruit, and just a hint of jalapeno that stays well in check. It’s medium-bodied and more linear on the palate, with bright acidity, good concentration, and a long, clean finish.
